Chekmecha ("we", "us", "the app") is an AI company offering AI consultation and custom AI systems. This policy explains what information Chekmecha handles when you connect a Meta (Facebook/Instagram) account as part of a system we build or operate for you, and how we protect it. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Replies are reviewed and approved by a member of your team before they are sent. Chekmecha is used to respond to people who contact your business on your own Instagram account, it is not used for unsolicited, bulk, or promotional messaging.
To draft suggested replies, the text of an incoming comment or message may be sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) solely to generate a suggested response. It is not used to train third-party models and is not retained by us beyond your workspace.
Data is stored in a private PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway. Access tokens and other secrets are encrypted at rest. Access is restricted to authenticated members of your workspace. Webhook deliveries from Meta are verified with a cryptographic signature before being processed.
We do not sell or rent your data. We share data only with the infrastructure providers required to run the service: Meta (the source of the data), Railway (hosting), and Anthropic (AI reply drafting). Each processes data only to provide their service.
You can disconnect a connected account at any time from within Chekmecha, which removes its stored access token. To request deletion of all data associated with your account, see our Data Deletion instructions.
